Manufacturing
The product manufacturing phase is inclusive of the following tasks:

Material Definition
In order to start the Production Phase, it is necessary to define the BOM (Bill of material) and the approved vendor list (AVL) to assemble the product.

Production Planning
Careful production planning systems allows Eutron to offer is customs on-time deliveries and additional flexibility against the actual forecast.
Production lines are never 100% utilised to ensure there are possibilities to meet reasonable requests for volume fluctuations. Purchasing of materials represents the longest activity in most production plans, for this reasons volume forecasts are of paramount importance.

Material Purchasing
The criticality of this task is reduced by Eutron’s Global Supply Chain Management including: Directly interfacing with component suppliers, Agreements with the major components distributors,and Eutron’s presence on the Asian market thanks to Eutron’s Chinese site and sourcing office.
Eutron’s Global supply chain allows Eutron to reach a high level of competiveness whilst maintaining the highest product quality. This is supported by Eutron teams base in China and Italy, plus and external company in Asia that has the specific task of material sourcing.
Eutron has a number of solid supplier relationships that allow it to be cost effective and have a high level of supply guarantee together with a flexible supply chain.

Kitting
The actual production phase starts by preparing the kits of components for the production line.

SMT (Surface Mount Technology)
IPC610 is used as production standard, while the RoHS norms are always applied Eutron is equipped with up to date SMT mounting equipment that allows for high speed, high yield board manufacturing.
Visual inspection, generally using automatic inspection systems, are performed on 100% of the SMT boards both to review sold paste placement and component placement. In the case of components such as BGA’s Eutron also uses Xray inspection systems as defined within the test strategy.

PTH (Plated Through Hole)
Where there is the need for traditional mounting, Eutron had both automated and manual systems for pre-forming, insertion, soldering and inspection.

Test
Depending on the production volume and product complexity, in circuit test, flying probe, bed of nails or functional test is performed.
Eutron’s test development where possible uses COTS (commercial off the shelve) equipment, which provide flexibility, reliability and the possibility to reutilise the systems. However if a particular test is needed then Eutron’s test engineering team can develop specific customer test solutions.

Delivery
Eutron has various solutions for packing and recycling of materials to reduce waste & cost. Eutron can provide deliveries Ex-works or can also provide global logistics support.
